This Didn’t Happen Before We Bought A Memory Gel Bed

Every morning, bodies in the bed multiply starting as early as 4am. Good thing we went for the king size. I didn’t pull the covers off Luke, he generally doesn’t like them in the morning.

Microblogging Is For Me.
“If I had more time I would have written less.” Several people including Thomas Jefferson and Mark Twain are given credit for this one, but in relation to blogging it definitely holds true for me.
I’ve been blogging for almost 10 years now, but you never would have know it given the amount of content that is currently on my domains. My blogging started out as most do, medium length journal entries about how I’m feeling, or what I’m doing, things like that… I had interesting things to say, I believed, but I would take 8 paragraphs to say that one thing.
I’m not an editorial guy. I’m definitely better suited for small doses. This is why Twitter is growing on me so much. There is so much less of an investment needed, and so little is expected of it. 140 characters or less, that’s the rule. And I love it. Short snippets about what is going on, what you are reading, what you have planned. It’s too small to say anything too terribly PROFOUND, but long enough to give people a taste of what is going on with you.
The bad thing for me is that few, if any, of my close friends are involved in the internet. I don’t know what it is about my group of friends, but they just aren’t online. And I’m talking about friends that I’ve had for over twenty years. Three of my closest friends are not online AT ALL. So while Twitter is fun, I sure wish there were more people on it that I knew, that I am more interested in.
On the good side, look at how many friends are out there to be made!

Sibling Rivalry - A Visual Aid
I asked Juliana, 3 years old, to set the table while I went and took Luke, 2 years old, out of the tub. I came back to this clever seating arrangement:

Luke was NOT ok with this.
Fortune Cookie Happiness
After about a billion years of getting advice, quips, and compliments, I finally get a fortune that I can pin my hopes on.
